DIRT COIN AND DIRT COIN TOKEN
Dirt coin is actually called "dimecoindirtiest" and its ticker is DIRTY, not DIRT. I should know.
Dirt coin token has the a similar count to dirt coin regular (200,000 or so less than the old dirt coin), but the supply is fixed for dirt coin token, whereas old dirt coin adds another 10,000 to its total every 2 minutes.
In other words, dirt coin is getting old, has a bloated wallet, and yobit can not connect to it, hence, maintenance.
No problems exist with connectivity and dirt coin token, given dirt coin token rides the WAVES blockchain.

So it sounds like you are saying Dirt coin token will dominate the entire dirt market... crushing the original dirt into dust

Or is that just a coincidence No, dirt coin (dimecoindirtiest) is still functioning (I just updated the wallet). But yobit is currently not connecting to it, probably because it does not accept incoming connections, it searches for nodes that were compiled into the wallet. Those nodes have long gone. It could recompile, though. dirt coin token is not a replacement as it is new operation, co-managed by the owner of this forum. So they are different .. one is a QT, the other a token. The token has a lower coin (or token) count, and the difference between coin counts will escalate as dirt coin mines POW blocks, whereas dirt coin token has a fixed token count with no reissue.

I've wondered how blockchains will manage size going forward - how do you 'decentralize' something with 120G block chain ? (*looks at bitcoin*) I'd be interested to know how dirt tokens compare to pascal coins 'safebox' stuff ?
